2022 (As a Freshman): Played in seven games, while making one start in right field on Mar. 12 against Fort Lewis… Hit at an impressive .625 clip, going 5-for-8 at the plate… Went 3-for-3 with a walk as a pinch hitter… Scored three runs… Also drew one walk and one hit by pitch to finish the year with a .700 on-base percentage… Struck out just once… Had two RBIs… Recorded her first career-hit in her debut  pinch-hit appearance on Mar. 4 at Mines.

Prep: 2021 graduate of Martin Luther King High School, where she played for the Wolves… Coached by Bob Metz.

Club: Played for the Athletics Mercado-Carroll 18u summer team… Coached by Joe Neahr.

Personal: Is majoring in psychology… Aspires to continue her education to obtain a PhD and become a child psychologist to help young teens… Daughter of Nicholas and Jlyn Corns… Has two younger siblings— Kendyl and Brett… When not hanging out with the family, likes to go shopping, hanging out with friends and going to the beach.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I feel in love with the campus and atmosphere when I visited the school. The coaching staff and current players were friendly and made me feel welcomed and comfortable right away.”
