Why I Chose CMU: "I chose chose to come to CMU because the atmosphere is one that allows an individual to thrive in pursuit of their goals. The location is also very different from my own hometown back in California, to where at CMU it is easier to develop personalized relationships with professors, and peers to an extent that I have not experienced before and has made Grand Junction feel as a home away from home. Gradually, I came to CMU for their very well known competitive softball program with a very strong mission statement, to where I can play at a high level, and still obtain a very distinguished degree, in one of CMU's most known programs."
