2023-24 (Junior):
Competed in six meets... Set multiple personal and season-bests at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Recorded a NCAA “B” cut time of 4:34.28 (altitude-adjusted) in the 500 Free… Also had personal-best times of 1:43.58 (200 Free), 56.59 (100 Fly) and 4:03.20 (400 IM)… Set a season-best of 9:44.72 (1000 Free) as well.

2022-23 (As a Sophomore): Was a member of the CMU Club Team... Finished 11th in the 1000 free and 15th in the 500 free at the College Club Swimming National Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

2021-22 (As a Freshman): Competed in nine meets, including the RMAC Championships… Was an exhibition swimmer at the conference meet… Set three altitude-adjusted season-bests during the A3 Performance Invitational… Finished third in the 1000 Free with a NCAA “B” qualifying time of 9:31.60… Also had season-bests of 4:07.39 (400 IM) and 4:35.79 (500 Free)… Won the 1650 free at the CMU Duals before setting a season-best of 16:01.39 at the A3 Performance Invitational.

Prep: Was a 4-year varsity swimmer for the Dave Hale coached Lake Washington High School Kangaroos… Graduated in 2021… Was the team captain as a senior... Placed seventh in the 500 free at the 3A State Championships in February of 2020... Was a 2-time state finalist and 3-year state qualifier.

Club: Was a sectionals and futures qualifier for Wave Aquatics, coached by Chad Winkle… Placed third at state in the mile... Set multiple team records.

Personal: Is majoring in environmental geology… Would like to go on to obtain a master's degree and become a senior hydrogeologist... Son of Erik and Tracy Teutsch… Has a younger sister--- JoJo... Relative Grayson plays soccer at UCLA... Enjoys skiing, hiking and anything outside.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because they gave me the opportunity to compete at the Division II level and prove myself.”
