2020-21 (Redshirt Junior): Competed in two meets during the pandemic-abbreviated season… Competed in both sets of Air Force Duals on Jan. 8 and 9, posting altitude-adjusted times of 25.25 (50 Back), 56.79 (100 Back), 2:05.09 (200 Back), 23.50 (50 Free) and 1:54.04 (200 Free)… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2019-20 (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer… Posted an altitude-adjusted season-best of 1:47.11 in the 200 free at the conference meet… Had personal-best times of 52.54 (100 back), 1:56.26 (200 back), and 52.92 (100 fly) at the A3 Performance Invitational… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2018-19: Redshirt season at CMU.

Before CMU: Spent the 2017-18 season at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia... Set personal-best times of 22.09 (50 free/relay split), 48.18 (100 free), 1:43.07 (200 free), 52.84 (100 back) and 1:43.07 (200 free) for the Clansmen as a freshman... Won the 200 free at the Puget Sound Invitational.

Prep: Served as the team captain for the Lewis Palmer HS Rangers as a senior in 2017... Coached by Alan Arata... Finished 10th in the 100 back (53.19) at the 2017 Colorado 5A State Championships... Also placed 13th in the 100 fly while leading the Rangers' 400 free and 200 medley relay to eighth and 12th place finishes, respectively. 

Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice... Has graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps Officer Candidate School and will commission as a Second Lieutentant following his planned CMU graduation in 2022 .. Son of Tim and Janette Sawer... Has two older sisters (Abigail & Meredith)... Relative Drew Worrad plays hockey at Western Michigan University... Enjoys playing sports and outdoor activities, especially volleyball, hiking and shooting.
