As a Freshman (2021-22): Dove in ten meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned a pair of CSCAA Honorable Mention All-America honors after placing ninth on the 3-meter board and 15^th on the 1-meter at the national meet in Greensboro, North Carolina… Had 11-dive scores of 401.50 (3m) and 385.05 (1m) there… Was also named as the RMAC Co-Freshman of the Year… Had placed third on both boards at the RMAC Championships to earn Second Team All-RMAC accolades in each… Had scores of 441.25 (1m) and 391.90 (3m)… Selected as the RMAC Diver of the Week on Jan. 27 after solid efforts in double-dual meets at Division I BYU and Utah… Selected as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: 2021 graduate of George Ranch High School… Was district champion and regional runner-up in 2020… Finished 14^th at the 6A State Championships… Coached by Stacy Gage.

Personal: Is majoring in mathematics and plans to become a high school teacher… Daughter of Marcia and Robert Apodaca… Has three siblings— Bryce, Sadie and Alexander… Enjoys being outdoors and to read.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I love the community and team spirit. I also feel that the skill sets of the other athletes will help push me athletically and help me to become a better diver.”
