CMU Wrestling Bio
As a Redshirt Junior (2021-22): Dove in nine meets, during another impressive award-winning season…  Continued to split time between diving and wrestling, qualifying for the national championships in both sports, which are held concurrently during the winter season… Was named as the RMAC Diver of the Year… Won a pair of First Team CSCAA All-America honors, placing seventh on the 1-meter board and eighth on the 3-meter at the NCAA Division II Championships… Had scores of 417.95 (1m) and 405.95 (3m) points at the national meet… Had won the RMAC title on the 3-meter at the conference championships with a score of 456.35 points… Also finished second on the 1-meter (454.05) to rack up 37 team points at the RMAC Championships… Shared RMAC Championship Diver of the Meet honors with teammate Ali Lange… Was a First Team All-RMAC performer on both boards… Had set season-best 11-dive scores of 475.55 (1m) and 457.80 (3m) to win both events at the A3 Performance Invitational… Was named as a First Team CoSIDA Academic All-American for Women’s At-Large Sports, her second overall CoSIDA Academic All-America award… Had also bee named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 team for the second straight year… Would later be named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American for the second straight year… Was also a First Team RMAC All-Academic pick for the second straight year… Was named as the RMAC Diver of the Week on three occasions throughout the season, raising her career total to eight…  Swept all four diving events over two days at the CMU Duals to garner her second award of the season… Had season-best 6-dive scores of 276.40 (1m) and 276.05 (3m) during that weekend.
As a Junior (2020-21): Competed in five meets, including the NCAA Division II National Championships and Pre-Championship qualifier… Finished as the national runner-up on the 1-meter scoring 448.30 points on 11 dives to earn the first of two CSCAA All-America honors… Was a first team honoree in that event and a second team selection on the 3-meter after finishing 11
th with 415.85 points… Qualified for the official championships after placing eighth on the 1-meter with a 6-dive score of 244.20 points in the pre-championship meet… Did not compete at the RMAC Championships as it was the same weekend as the regional qualifying tournament in wrestling… Had competed in three dual meets early in the pandemic-effected season… Won the 3-meter while placing second on the 1-meter to begin the year in an Oct. 31 dual against Western Colorado… Was named as the RMAC Diver of the Week on Nov. 2 for those efforts… Repeated that honor on Jan. 12 after claiming three wins and a runner-up finish over two days against mostly Division I competition at the Air Force Dual Meet Invitationals on Jan. 8 and 9… Had season-best 6-dive scores of 270.95 (1m) and 262.80 (3m) in the first day… Received Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-America honors for Women’s At-Large sports after receiving an Academic All-District 6 pick… Was also named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team and to the CSCAA First Team Scholar All-America squad.
As a Sophomore (2019-20): Dove in five meets, including the RMAC Championships and NCAA Pre-Championship qualification meet… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the 1 and 3-meter events finishing second behind teammate Brittany Dixon in both… Set the CMU 1-meter record for both six and 11 dives while splitting her time with the CMU women’s wrestling squad… Tallied 478.57 points for 11 dives at the Dixie State/Mines triangular… Also set the 6-dive record of 293.17 points as part of her overall winning effort at the A3 Performance Invitational… Had a season-best 3-meter score of 435.70 points at the A3 meet… Finished 21
st on both boards at the NCAA Pre-Championship qualification meet with 6-dive scores of 234.95 (1m) and  202.45 (3m) points... Had wrestled at the NCWC Championships just three days earlier... Named as the RMAC Diver of the Week for each of her three regular-season meets... Named as an Honorable Mention CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Before CMU: Was a Big 10 and NCAA Division I Zone qualifier for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes in 2018-19... Had season-best scores of 277.55 and 252.45 points on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards, respectively... Both of those came against Iowa State on Dec. 7... Also had a season-best of 192.70 for platform diving at the Hawkeye Invitational on Nov. 17... Finished 27th on the 1-meter and 49th on the 3-meter at the Big 10 Championships in Bloomington, Ind... Was 33rd on the platform... Took 22nd on the platform, 38th on the 1-meter and 52nd on the 3-meter at the Zone D Championships in Iowa City.
Prep: Was a 4-time conference and 2-time district champion for the Abraham Lincoln HS Railsplitters in Des Moines... Graduated in 2018... Coached by Tereca Weber... Was a 3-time state placer and 4-time qualifier... Earned four varsity letters and was a 3-time all-academic selection.
Personal: Daughter of John and Linda Harris... Brother is John... Sister is Mackenzie... Is majoring in exercise science with aspirations of becoming a hight school athletic trainer... Would also like to coach club and high school sports as well... Enjoys sports and working out... Also likes listening, playing and singing music, watching movies and Netflix shows and hanging out with friends when homework is done.
Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because the campus is beautiful! I also chose CMU to be a duel sport athlete in the sports I love. I also really liked the teams and coaches and it felt like a good fit for me!
