  • 2x RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in all three home meets and the RMAC Championships… Had a career-best long jump mark of 5.37 meters (17-7.5) to finish 11th at the conference meet… Is tied for tenth in program history with that mark… Had run the 100 meters in 13.08 seconds at the Maverick Open in her lone attempt at that discipline… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
 
2021 Indoor (Sophomore): Contested the long jump at all four meets of the regular season, including the RMAC Championships… Had a season-best mark of 5.19 meters (17-0.5) at the Adams State Grizzly Open to qualify for the RMAC meet, where she placed 12th (4.80m)… Also had a career-best time of 8.30 seconds in the 60 meters at the Adams State meet, the only one where she sprinted… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in four meets… Contested the long jump at each… Also ran the 60 meters twice and the 200 meters once… Had a season-best effort of 5.21 meters (17-1.25) in the long jump at the Mines Winter Classic… Also had a season-best effort of 8.38 seconds in the 60 meters at that meet… Posted a time of 28.76 seconds in the 200 meters in her lone attempt at that discipline at the Western Colorado Open in her collegiate debut on Dec. 7.

Prep: Was a 4-event state qualifier for three straight years with the Delta HS Panthers and Coach Ryan Whittington... Finished seventh in the long jump and 4x100-meter relay and eighth in the 4x200-meter relay as a senior in 2019... Set a long jump PR of 17-9 earlier in the season while winning five times... Also qualified for state in four events, including two relays as a junior in 2018... Won the 100-meter hurdle crown at the Western Slope League meet that year... Won the long jump title as a sophomore in 2017 while qualifying for state in four events.

Personal: Is majoring in nursing with aspirations of becoming a psychiatric nurse... Daughter of Dusty Carney... Has four younger siblings (Alesha, Triston, Jae, Coalby).

Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because it’s only an hour from home. Also because they have a phenomenal nursing program."
