As a Redshirt Freshman (2021): Posted an overall record of 6-4 and an official record of 4-3 with partner Rianne Brown... Won their preliminary pool at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships Pairs Challenge before advancing to the quarterfinals of that 24-pair tournament... Also went 1-1 in the Cactus Classic Pairs Challenge while going 1-2 in exhibition matches... Lost their only team dual match against Arizona State, ranked 20th nationally.

As a Freshman (2020): Posted a 0-3 record with partner Lindy Dixon at the Arizona Invitational, CMU's lone action of the season before the COVID-19 outbreak... The duo played two matches at No. 3 and their last at No. 4.

Prep: Was a 2-time First Team All-Hawkeye Conference indoor player for the Kent Halstead coached Indianola HS Indians… Earned those honors as a junior and senior after picking up honorable mention honors as a sophomore.

Club: Played club beach volleyball for Des Moines Beach, coached by Scarlett Molina and Shelby Sawyer.

Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Daughter of Matt and Wendy McGinnis… Has an older sister Doris and younger brother John… Plans to go on to physical therapy school and work as a pediatric physical therapist… Enjoys hanging out with friends and playing sports.
