2021-22 (Redshirt Senior): Played in eight tournaments as a graduate student… Carded a 75.04 scoring average in 24 rounds… Had seven rounds of par or better and two in the 60’s while recording a 57.3 individual winning percentage… Was in the Maverick lineup for all three championship events, turning in a tie for 16
th place finish at the RMAC Championships… Posted a career-best round of 66 (2
nd round) and season-best 54-hole tournament score at the RMAC Championships… Scored 219 to finish in a tie for 68
th at the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional Championships before leading the Mavs with a score of 226 to tie for 29
th amongst 107 players at the NCAA Division II National Championships… Also had two other top-20 finishes, placing in a tie for 16
th at the Lion Invitational before placing in a tie for 17
th at the Southern Colorado Masters… Named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team and as a GCAA Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar for the second straight year.
2020-21 (Redshirt Junior): Played in all eight of the Mavs' tournaments, recording a 75.92 stroke average over 24 rounds... Had top-10 finishes in all three tournaments of the fall, tying for seventh at both the Fall Mile High Shootout and Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational, where he carded a 54-hole career-best score of 211 to lead the Mavs... Also had a season-low round of 68 in the opening round of that tournament... Named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team... Also named to the GCAA's Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars list.
2019-20 (Junior): Led the team with a 73.67 scoring average… Played in all five tournaments and 15 rounds… Carded a team-leading six rounds of par or better, including a team-leading three in the 60s… Had a low round of 68 at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite and again at the Sierra Central Wildcat Classic… Had three top-15 finishes, including a season-best sixth place finish at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational… Had a 54-hole best of 212, breaking par (-1) at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite… Led the team in four of the five tournaments... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Played in all ten of the Mavs’ tournaments, recording a 75.07 scoring average in 28 rounds… Had his score counted towards the team total 22 times… Had seven rounds of par or better, carding a season-best score of 70 at both the Mustang Intercollegiate and RMAC Championship… Had a 54-hole low score of 215 at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invite and again at the Mustang Intercollegiate… Finished in a season-best tie for 10
th at the Samuel Proal… Had three top-25 finishes, including a tie for 23
rd at the RMAC Championships… Had a 3-round score of 217… Finished in a tie for 85
th at the NCAA West/South Central Super Regional with a 3-round score of 227… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2017-18 (Freshman): Played in 18 rounds during his freshman season and finished with a 74.17 stroke average...Shot a low-round of 70 at the Western New Mexico Intercollegiate...Best finish came at the Bob Writz Invitational where he finished in a tie for 30th.
High School: Played for Highlands Ranch High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado... Graduated in 2017... Was the 2016 CHSAA 5A State Champion and Player of the Year... Lettered four seasons... Was a 3-time state qualifier and 2-time regional champion for the Falcons... Was the JGAC Junior Match Play Champion in 2017.
Personal: The son of Scott and Geri Pearson...Has one sibling, Ryan, who plays golf at Pacific Lutheran University...Majoring in finance and sports management...Aspires to become a financial or positional analyst for a professional sports team... Enjoys fishing, traveling, and hanging out with his family.
