2023: Raced six times as a consistent member of the Mavs’ top seven… Finished 94

th amongst Division II triathletes at the Women’s Collegiate National Championships, crossing the line in 1:14.26… Finished 49

th amongst Division II triathletes and fifth on the team at the West National Qualifier, clinching the Mavs’ fifth consecutive regional title with a time 1:10:40… Started the year by finishing 12
th at the Denver Aquathlon Eliminator before taking sixth at the Desert’s Edge Triathlon… Teamed with Torin Lackmann and Natalie Mitchell to place fourth on the Mavs’ “B” team at the Yellow Jacket Relays... Named as a CTCA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American.
2022: Competed in three races, finishing 23
rd at the Southern Hills Triathlon, ninth at the Desert’s Edge Triathlon and 14
th at the Bearathlon.
2021: Competed in five races… Placed 12
th overall and eighth amongst collegiate athletes at the Southern Hillis Triathlon to begin the season… Was 20
th at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede cross country meet… Finished 32
nd at the West Regional Qualifier as the tenth Division II finisher after placing 21
st amongst Division II triathletes and 38
th overall at the East Regional Qualifier… Finished 34
th at national championships... Named as a CTCA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American.
2020-21: Named as a CTCA/USA Triathlon Scholar All-American... Finished tenth at the BHSU dual on Apr. 25 with a time of 1:25.20... Was sixth on the team in that race.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Greendale High School… Competed for the Panthers in swimming for her junior and senior years after doing cross country and track as a freshman and sophomore.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Hopes to go to physician assistant school after four years to become a PA… Daughter of Jeff and Lisa Polenske… Has an older sister (Hannah) and younger brother (Connor).
Why I Chose CMU: “I choose CMU because it gave me the ability to compete on an NCAA women's triathlon team while also pursuing a degree in exercise science. I also just loved the idea of living in Colorado. It is such a pretty state to live and train in.”
