As a Junior (2020-21): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships and all four of CMU’s dual-meet format affairs during the pandemic effected-season… Accounted for 21 team points in his four events at the RMAC Championships, placing seventh in the 200 back, 12th in the 100 back and 13th in the 200 free… Also finished 21st in the 50 free prelims… Set personal-best altitude-adjusted times of 21.68 (50 free), 52.72 (100 back), 1:53.43 (200 back) and 1:44.68 (200 free) during the meet…. Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive season.
As a Sophomore (2019-20): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer… Finished third in the 100 IM (55.06)… Also had contested the 50 and 100 free at the conference meet… Had posted season-best times of 21.87 and 48.17 seconds in those events at the A3 Performance Invitational… Also had a personal-best time of 1:03.30 in the 100 breast at that meet… Selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman (2018-19): Competed in two home meets posting season-best times of 22.00 (50 free), 47.39 (100 free), 1:50.64 (200 free) and 54.37 (100 back).
Prep: Placed eighth in the 100 free at the 2018 Colorado 5A State Championships while swimming for Lewis-Palmer High School and Coach Alan Arata… Had taken second at the Pikes Peak Conference meet... Swam a personal best time of 46.95 seconds in the preliminaries at the state meet… Also swam a PB time of 22.08 in the 50 free at that meet… Was an 4-year state qualifier and an all-conference peformer as a senior... Attended and graduated from Palmer Ridge High School in 2018.
Club: Swam for coach Mike Doan and the Colorado Springs Swim Team... Was a sectional qualifier.
Personal: Son of Brian and Danielle Donahue… Sister’s name is Lauren… Is a pre-medicine major with aspirations of going on to medical school… Enjoys fishing, skiing, hiking and striving to get 300 while bowling with bumpers.
