2020-21: Helped the Mavericks claim the RMAC Championship after placing third at the the NCAA Super Region VI Tournament at 125 pounds...Finished the COVID shortened season with a 9-3 record as the regular 125 pounder in the Maverick lineup...Opened the season with four straight wins at the UNK/Western Triangular and the Fort Hays State Jamboree...First loss on the year came to No. 5 ranked Isaiah DeLaCerda of Adams State 8-4...After falling in his opening match of the Regional Tournament, went on a three-pin, win streak before falling in the true third-place match to No. 2 Josh Portillo of UNK, 8-1.

2019-20: Finished the season 15-10 including 3-1 in dual meets...Placed second at the Rocky Mountain Open...Placed fifth at the Northern Colorado Open...Competed in five open tournaments.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Wrestled for current Maverick assistant coach Mike Mendoza at Northeastern Junior College and qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Business...Son of Patrick and Niamh Apple... Has two siblings, Jack and Ben...Chose CMU for the proximity to home and the coaching staff...Enjoys hiking, drawing and chilling with his dog.
