2021-22 (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer… Posted altitude-adjusted season bests of 1:59.14 (200 free), 5:20.12 (500 free), 11:06.64 (1000 free) and 4:51.76 (400 IM) at the conference meet… The 400 IM time was also a personal-best… Selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year.

2020-21 (Sophomore): Competed in two meets, book ending-the abbreviated season… Finished fifth in the 200 free (2:05.89) in a dual against Western Colorado on Oct. 31… Also swam in the 500 free at that meet and at the Grand Junction Invitational on Feb. 21, when she posted an altitude-adjusted time of 5:19.47… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2019-20 (Freshman): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer… Posted personal altitude-adjusted bests of 5:07.44 (500 Free) and 18:02.58 (1650) free at that meet… Also had a season-best altitude-adjusted best of 1:56.95 in the 200 free… Had a personal-best time of 10:48.12 in the 1000 free at the A3 Performance Invitational… Also had season-best times of 27.06 (50 free) and 56.03 (100 free) at that meet.

Prep: Graduated from Arapahoe HS in 2019... Qualified for the 5A State Championships in all four years of her career in the 500 free, finishing ninth as a junior in 2018... Also qualified in the 200 free three times.

Personal: Is majoring in counseling psychology... . Aspires to either be a therapist or to conduct research about human psychology.  Is also minoring in exercise science and considering a forensics minor as well.... Daughter of Sandy and Matthew Abernathy.
