2019-20: NWCA Scholar All-American...RMAC All-Academic First Team...Finished the season with a 14-6 record and placed fifth at the NCAA Super Region VI Tournament...Went 1-2 against nationally ranked opponents on the year with his lone win against Noah Hermosillo of Adams State in the dual...Went 8-2 in duals during the season.

2018-19: Finished the season with a 13-14 mark...Placed third at the Menlo Open where he had two pins and a tech fall...Went 1-2 at the NCAA Super Region Six Tournament.

2017-18: Went 7-4 during his redshirt season...First collegiate win came against Tristian Snoover of Midland, 5-1, at the Holiday Inn UNK Open...Placed second at the Colorado Mesa Open. 

High School: Wrestled for the Wildcats of Fruita Monument High School and coach Dan Van Hoose...Three-time Colorado State placer.

Personal: Majoring in Mechanical Engineering...Son of Dan and Shelby Van Hoose...Has one sibling, Sheridan who plays softball at Adams State...Chose CMU for the academic and athletic offerings...Enjoys the outdoors.
