As a Redshirt Senior (2022): Set the school-record for ERA (1.30) during one of the best pitching seasons in program history… Was named as the RMAC Pitcher of the Year for the second straight campaign before becoming the first Maverick to ever earn D2CCA South Central Region Pitcher of the Year honors…Was also named to the first team all-region and All-RMAC squads... Was not eligible for NFCA All-Region or All-America honors after falling just short of that organization’s innings requirement, largely due to an injury which kept her out for nearly a month in the first half of the campaign… Finished the year with a 17-3 record after making 20 starts and 25 appearances… Was fourth in the RMAC for wins… Recorded nine complete games and six individual shutouts while throwing 108 innings… Recorded 130 strikeouts to rank fourth in the conference, despite pitching far fewer innings than the other RMAC leaders… Led the league with her 8.43 strikeouts per seven innings average, the second best average in program history… Recorded two no-hitters hurling the first of her career on Apr. 3 at New Mexico Highlands before tossing another against RMAC runner-up Colorado Christian on Apr. 24 in a key doubleheader sweep… Was named as the RMAC Pitcher of the Week three times, earning the honors on Feb. 22, Apr. 5 and Apr. 12… Surrendered just 53 hits throughout the season, leading the RMAC while ranking fourth nationally in hits allowed per seven innings (3.44)… Also finished eighth in the country and atop the RMAC with her 0.81 WHIP… Held opponents to a league-low .143 batting average, 67 points lower than any other qualifying RMAC pitcher… Gave up just 24 runs and 20 earned runs, figures that led the RMAC… Had two double-figure strikeout efforts… Fanned 13 in a Apr. 9 win over Black Hills State and another ten on Apr. 16 at UCCS… Had lowered her season-long ERA to 0.86 after that game at UCCS.
As a Senior (2021): Named as the RMAC Pitcher of the Year and to the First Team All-RMAC squad… Also earned Second Team All-South Central Region honors from both the D2CCA and NFCA… Was also named to RMAC Gold Glove Team and later to the RMAC All-Tournament Team… Posted a 20-3 record and 2.31 ERA… Led the conference in wins while ranking second behind teammate Ellie Smith in ERA… Pitched in 29 games, making 26 starts… Completed 13 of those while recording a league-high five individual shutouts… Also combined with Shea Mauser on another… Led the conference with 139 1/3 innings pitched and 119 strikeouts… Held opposing hitters to a .246 mark, the second lowest average in the conference… Surrendered just 129 hits and 28 walks, good for a 1.126 WHIP… Recorded one save… Was perfect on 20 defensive chances… Earned three RMAC Pitcher of the Week honors, winning those on Mar. 2, Apr. 20 and May 4… Recorded ten or more strikeouts in three games, posting a career-high 12 during a 2-hit shutout against Regis on Mar. 28… Threw a 5-hit, 7-strikeout shutout in the season-debut against MSU Denver (Feb. 28)… Gave up just two hits in a 5-inning shutout against Adams State on Mar. 21… Had another 2-hit shutout over six innings against Regis in the RMAC Tournament… Pitched in seven post-season games, including four of the five in the RMAC Tournament and all three in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional… Went 3-1 in the RMAC Tournament.
As a Junior (2020): Went 4-2 with a 2.84 ERA in the COVID-19 shortened season... Was ranked fifth in the RMAC for ERA... Threw 37 innings over eight appearances... Made six starts, completing three of them... Tossed a 1-hit shutout in her final appearance on Mar. 8 against Colorado School of Mines... Allowed just 25 hits and 15 walks, good for an impressive 1.08 WHIP... Had 31 strikeouts, matching a career-high by recording eight 4 1/3 innings of relief against Eastern New Mexico (Feb. 14).
As a Sophomore (2019): Went 3-2 with a 3.10 ERA and four saves as the teams' No. 3 pitcher behind standouts McKenzie Surface and Kimbri Herring... Tied the Mavs' single-season school record for saves, which had been set in 2009 by Sara Jordan... Made 15 overall appearances and six starts throwing 49 2/3 innings... Completed four of her starts, which were all made in February... Allowed just 55 hits and 12 walks while striking out 36... Had a career-high eight strikeouts in her debut, a 6-hit, 2-run winning performance against Western Washington (Feb. 8)... Missed the entire month of April and the RMAC Tournament due to injury... Returned for a 1 1/3 inning appearance in the NCAA Tournament against Oklahoma Christian.
JC: Posted a 17-5 record with a 2.80 ERA in 27 pitching appearances as a freshman at Pima Community College in 2018… Head Coach was Armando Quiroz… Struck out 170 in 137 2/3 innings, an average of 8.64 per seven innings… Threw 19 complete games in 22 starts… Allowed just 138 hits and 23 walks… Earned Third Team All-ACCAC (Arizona Community College Athletic Conference) honors… Also hit .236 at the plate driving in eight runs in 55 official at bats… Had 13 hits and the same number of walks, helping her to have a .371 on-base percentage… Struck out a season-high 17 in her second collegiate start against Utah State-Eastern.
Prep: Played for Coach Roy Johnson and the Aztec HS Tigers… Graduated in 2017.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Aspires to become a physical therapist… Daughter of Rick and Cherron Adair… Has two siblings (Coby and Avery).
