2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified in the 200 meters, finishing 16th in 22.62 seconds… Had finished second with a career-best of 22.09 just two weeks earlier at the Maverick Invite #2… Ranks tenth in program-history with that mark… Also ran the 100 meters at each of the three pre-championship meets… Had a wind-aided best of 11.17 at the Maverick Invite #2 and an official season-best of 11.33 at the Colorado Invitational… Selected to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran in four meets, contesting the 200 meters at each… Also ran in the 60 meters at the first three… Had a season-best 200-meter time of 23.38 set at the New Mexico Classic and then duplicated at the Western Colorado Alumni Open… Had a season-best of 7.23 in the 60 at the Mountaineer Open & Multi… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in six meets, including all three home meets and the RMAC Championships… Finished tenth in the 200 meters with a season-best time of 22.16 seconds… Matched his season-best with a time of 11.01 in the 100 meters to finish 15th at the RMAC meet… Helped the Mavs win the 4x100-meter relay at the Maverick Sun Classic in a time of 41.60 seconds, seventh fastest in school history… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
 
2021 Indoor: Did not compete during the abbreviated season… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 60 meters at each… Also contested the 200 on three occasions… Had a season-best time of 7.00 seconds in the 60 during the preliminary rounds of the UCCS Invitational…. Was tied for 13th on the RMAC’s season-long performance list with his converted time of 7.04… Placed 17th at the conference meet in 7.18 seconds… Had a season-best 200-meter time of 22.62 in the 200 at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational… RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.

2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships... Finished fourth in the 100 at the conference meet to earn Second Team All-RMAC plaudits... Had posted a wind-legal best of 10.94 in the prelims... Had a wind-aided time of 10.85 in the finals, his best all-conditions mark of the campaign... Also helped the Mavs to a fifth place finish in the 4X100 relay... Helped the Mavs set a former school-record relay time of 41.41, now the sixth fastest time in program history at the Mines Kit Mayer Invite.

2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Contested the 60 and 200 meters in six total meets... Qualified for the RMAC Championships in the 60, finishing sixth in 7.08 seconds to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors... Had run a season-best time of 6.98 seconds in the prelims, becoming the sixth Maverick at the time to break seven seconds... Had a season-best time of 22.94 in the 200 at the Colorado Invitational.

Before CMU: Won the gold in the 200 meters and the silver in the 60 meters at the 2016 Canadian Indoor Championships… Also won the gold in both the 100 and 200 that year at the Alberta Schools Athletic Association Provincial Championships while sprinting for Strathcona High School, under the direction of Coach Dwight Francis… Graduated that year… Placed sixth in the junior 200-meter final at the 2016 Canadian Olympic Trials/Track & Field Championships… Has personal bests of 10.91 (100) and 21.98 (200) outdoors and 6.96 (60) and 22.54 (200) indoors to his credit.

Personal: Is majoring in business… Son of Lee and Joanne Ward… Older brother is Adam… Enjoys rock climbing, working out and cooking… Chose CMU for the coaching staff and business program… Aspires to open his own business.
