2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Redshirt season… Ran unattached in both Maverick Invites… Finished fourth in both the 800 (1:52.95) and 1500 (3:49.04) at the first… Finished second in the 1500 at the second with a time of 4:00.80.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran in four meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Placed 13
th in the mile at the national meet with a season-best time of 4:09.79… Had qualified by running to victory in 4:18.20 at the Mountaineer Open & Multi, his first meet… His converted time of 4:03.79 put him 15
th on the season-long national list and fifth in the RMAC… Did not try to defend his RMAC title in the mile, instead choosing to run the 3K at the conference meet… Placed sixth to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors with a time of 8:41.42… Had smashed the school-record with a time of 8:22.17 at the Don Kirby Open & Elite, where he finished second… Also broke a 7-year old school record in the 800 meters at that meet, finishing in 1:51.30 to again take second…Was ranked fifth in the RMAC in the 800 and 24
th nationally with a converted time of 1:50.68… Was ranked 35
th nationally in the 3K with his converted time of 8:09.66… Ran a leg on CMU’s distance medley relay team, that finished in 11:24.44 at the Mountaineer Open & Multi… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Would later be named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for the third successive year.
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Had another incredible season, punctuated by his second USTFCCCA All-American honor of the year with a third place finish in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Division II Championships in Allendale, Michigan… Had obliterated the school-record in that event posting a time of 3:44.31 to win the Azusa Pacific Last Chance Twilight in a field of nearly 100 (96) runners… That performance came after he won his second RMAC title of the season… Had posted an altitude-adjusted time of 3:41.84, the fastest on the RMAC performance list by winning the event at the Maverick Open… Set a track record time of 3:46.28 and earned RMAC Track Athlete of the Week honors (Mar. 31)… Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 1,500 as the South Central Region's top performer... Also set the school-record in the 5,000 meters at the Maverick Multi & Open posting a track-record and NCAA Division II Championship provisional qualifying time of 14:29.75 (14:09.13-converted)… Earned his second RMAC Track Athlete of the Week honor (Apr. 14) for that performance Also set the CMU track record in the 800 meters, winning that event at the Maverick Sun Classic in a time of 1:51.38… Later turned in an even faster time of 1:51.19 in the preliminary round at the RMAC Championships… Ranks second in program-history with that effort, which also put him fourth on the season-long RMAC performance list at 1:50.60 (converted)… Ended up fifth in the 800-meter final to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors on top of his first team plaudit in the 1,500… Recorded five total wins throughout the campaign, winning once in each of his five regular season meets prior to the NCAA Championships... Named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team and to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2021 Indoor (Junior): Competed in five meets including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships during what was one of the best individual seasons in school-history... Set the school-record in three events during the season... Took second in the mile at the national meet with a school-record smashing time of 4:00.86... That mark is the eighth fastest in Division II history and ranks him sixth on the NCAA Division II all-time performers' list... Earned his first career all-America honor... Had run a then school-record time of 4:07.52 in the preliminaries... Qualified for the national meet after winning the RMAC Championship with a time of 4:10.91... Earned First Team All-RMAC and USTFCCCA All-South Central Region honors thanks to the effort... Also helped the Mavericks finish third in the distance medley relay with a school-record and NCAA provisional championship time of 10:15.08... Also placed eighth in the 3k with a school-record setting time of 8:38.01... Won the mile at the Western Slope Challenge to open the season on Feb. 6... Named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified for the conference meet in both the 800 meters and mile… Also ran the opening 1,200-meter leg on the Mavs’ distance medley relay team… Helped the Mavs set a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 10:24.77, fourth fastest in program history, to finish sixth… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the mile after placing second with a time of 4:21.62… Had run a career-best time of 4:15.42 (4:09.86-converted) two weeks earlier at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational… Was ranked 11th in the RMAC and 26
th nationally with the NCAA provisional qualifying converted time… Is ranked second in CMU history with the actual time… Placed ninth in the 800 at the RMAC Championships with a indoor PR time of 1:57.16… Ranks fifth in program history with that mark… Was 15
th on the RMAC season-long performers list with the converted time of 1:54.46… Had six top-5 finishes throughout the year… Two came on relays… Helped the Mavs to a DMR time of 10:56.62, ninth fastest in CMU history at the Power 5…. Ran a leg on a 4x400-meter relay team, which finished in 3:32.11 at the UCCS Invitational... Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Ran in five meets, contesting the 800 and 1,500 meters... Took 11th in the final of the 1,500 at the RMAC Championships after running a season-best time of 3:56.29 at the Colorado Invitational... Ranks third in program history... Had won the event at the Fum McGraw Open in 3:59.01... Also won the 800 in his lone attempt at that discipline... Posted a time of 1:54.73 at the Mines Kit Mayer Invite to rank fifth in program history and tenth on the RMAC season-long performers list with the altitude-adjusted time of 1:53.89... Did not enter the 800 at the RMAC Championships.
2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Ran in six meets, contesting the mile at each... Finished 13th at the RMAC Championships with a time of 4:28.70... Had posted a season-best of 4:24.04 at the Colorado Invitational... Also ran the 800m leg on the Mavs' distance medley relay team that finished ninth at the conference meet in 10:45.85, the sixth quickest time in CMU history... Ran on the Mavs' 4x400m relay team at the Colorado Invitational... Helped the team to a time of 3:27.48.
Prep: Placed eighth as an individual at the 2017 Division 2 Arizona State Championships to lead the Ironwood Ridge High School Nighthawks… Went on to place 17th at the Nike Southwest Regionals with a PR 5K time of 16:09… Placed in the top eight in three different events on the track at the 2018 state championships… Placed second in the 1,600 with a PR of 4:16.37, fifth in the 800 (1:58.08) and eighth in the 3,200 with a PR of 9:37.08... Racked up seven combined wins in those events during the regular season… Has a PR of 1:57.07.
Club: Swept the 800 and 1,500m titles ab both the USATF Arizona and USATF Region 10 Junior Olympic Championship meets in 2017 while representing Tucson Elite Athletic Club.
