2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in three meets, running the 400 meters at each, including at the RMAC Championships… Also ran the 200 meters once before closing out the campaign with a silver-medal winning and school-record setting performance in the 4x400-meter relay at the conference meet… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors after helping the Mavs set a school-record time of 3:15.69… Had finished 17
th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.40 seconds… Had qualified for the RMAC meet thanks to a season-best time of 50.01 seconds in the 1-lap race at the Maverick Invite #2… Also posted a career-best time of 22.93 seconds in the 200 at that meet.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 400 meters in each, while also turning in 200-meter and 4x400-meter relay performances on occasion… Posted a season-best time of 50.88 seconds in the 400 to begin the season at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic… Ranks eighth in program history with that time… Went on to place 15
th at the RMAC Championships in 52.46 seconds… Helped the Mavs place fourth in the relay at the conference meet with a time of 3:24.39.. Helped the Mavs set a school-record time of 3:19.29 at the Don Kirby Open & Elite after setting a then school-record time of 3:19.59 at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic… Is a member of three of the six fastest relay times in CMU indoor history… Had a season-best time of 23.42 seconds in the 200 at the Western Colorado Open.
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Ran in three meets, including his first RMAC Championship… Placed 13
th in the 400 with a time of 50.06 seconds after setting a career-best time of 49.85 seconds to place second at the Maverick Sun Classic… Is tied for ninth in program history with that time… Ran on two 4x400-meter relay teams, anchoring the Mavs to a former school-record time of 3:17.40 at the RMAC Championships, where CMU took fifth… That time ranks third in program history... Also ran on the Maverick Multi & Open team, which was clocked in 3:21.64.
2021 Indoor (Junior): Competed in three meets… Turned in a 400-meter time of 52.41 in his only individual effort of the abbreviated season at the CRC UCCS Open… Had helped the Mavs win the 4x400-meter relay in 3:28.08 at the Western Slope Challenge to begin the year… Ran the 400-meter leg on CMU’s distance medley relay team that posted a NCAA Division II Championship provisional qualifying time of 10:27.62 to take fourth at the Adams State Grizzly Open… That time is sixth fastest in program history.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in three meets, running the 400 meters at each… Also ran the 200 for the first time in his collegiate career at his season-opener, the Western Colorado Open… Finished in 24.16 seconds… Also had a 400-meter season-best time of 52.44 at that meet on Dec. 7.
2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.
2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Ran in the 400 meters and 4x400-meter relay at the season-opening Western Colorado Open (Dec. 1), his lone meet of the season... Finished the 400 in 54.94 seconds.
Prep: Won the Pueblo City/County Championships in the 800 meters as a senior with the Dan Ratliff coached Pueblo County HS Hornets... Placed 12th at the 4A State Championships in the 400 meters as a junior in 2017... Set PR times of 50.60 (400) and 2:01.04 (800) that year... Also ran cross country.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science and plans to move into an occupational therapy career.
Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because of the atmosphere of the campus. It is a beautiful place and I like my fellow classmates and teammates."
