2019-20 Indoor (Redshirt Senior): Competed in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Also qualified for and traveled to the NCAA Division II National Championships, which were eventually canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak… Was CMU’s lone men’s national qualifier… Later named as a USTFCCCA All-American by virtue of his qualifications... Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the heptathlon after placing third at the RMAC Championships with a score of 5,262 points, second best in program history… That mark, which was 72 points better than his RMAC Championship record score in 2019, trailed only his 2018 national title and school-record winning score of 5,552… Was ranked 13
th going into the national meet with his converted score of 5,286… Sat third in the RMAC… Had six season-bests at the RMAC Championships… Recorded times of 7.12 (60), 8.56 (60 Hurdles) and 2:58.89 (1000)… Also had season-best marks of 6.72m/22-0.75 (LJ), 13.81m/45-3.75 (SP) and 1.84m/6-0.5 (HJ)… Cleared a career-best 4.62 meters (15-1.75) in the pole vault at the Western Colorado Open a week before the conference meet… Ranks third in program history with that mark, which also put him 12
th on the RMAC’s season-long performers list.
2019 Outdoor: Did not compete.
2018-19 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed for the team in four spring semester meets after attending CMU on a part-time basis during the fall semester... Won the RMAC heptathlon title with a meet-record score of 5,190 points to qualify for his third consecutive NCAA Championship meet... Finished 14th at the national meet with 4,445 points after not scoring in the high jump... Earned USTFCCCA All-Region and First Team All-RMAC honors for his conference meet effort... Set multiple season-bests at that meet, posting marks of 7.21 (60), 1.93m/56-4 (high jump), 4.45m/14-7.25 (pole vault) at the conference meet... Other season-bests were 2:51.09 (1000), 8.62 (60 Hurdles), 6.97m/22-10.5 (long jump) and 12.87m/42-2.75 (shot put).Â

2018 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Earned his second career all-America certificate with a tenth place finish in the decathlon at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Charlotte, N.C... Was a second team honoree by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association... Scored 6,925 points, the second highest point total in school history... Had set the school-record to qualify for nationals by recording 7,145 points at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif... Led the RMAC's season-long performance list and earned USTFCCCA All-South Region honors for the effort... Competed at seven total meets... Contested five individual events, but not the decathlon at the RMAC Championships winning the javelin with a season-best mark of 53.18 meters (174-6), the second best in the RMACÂ throughout the campaign... Claimed his first conference title and second career First Team All-RMAC certificate with that performances... Also placed fourth in the 4x100-meter relay as part of the Mavs' team that recorded a time of 41.73 seconds, second fastest in school history... Took sixth in the high jump, clearing a season-best 1.92 meters (6-3.5)... Recorded a career-best long jump mark of 6.85m (22-5.75) at the Mines Sunday Last Chance meet and a career-best shot put effort of 13.86m (45-5.75) at the RMAC Championships to finish 11th... That shot put mark ranks him fourth in school-history Also placed 12th in the discus at the RMACÂ meet after throwing a season-best 42.28m (138-8) to win that portion of the decathlon at the Bryan Clay Invitational, where he was fourth overall.... Set career-best times of 11.11 (100) and 51.75 (400) at the Bryan Clay meet as well... The 100-meter time puts him in a ninth place tie in Maverick history... Had a season-best time of 15.68 in the 100-meter hurdles there as well... Cleared a career-high 4.40 meters (14-5.25) in the pole vault hours later... Is tied for third in program-history with that pole vault mark... Ranks third by himself in program history for the long jump.Â
2017-18 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Made program history becoming the first Maverick to ever win a national championship... Won the heptathlon with a school and RMAC record of 5,552 points in PIttsburg, Kansas on Mar. 10, 2018 just hours before teammate Nolan Ellis won the pole vault as CMU tied for 11th as a team at the national championship meet, the program's best ever finish... Became the second of now four athletes (five titles) to win a national title in any sport... The performance is the eighth best in Division II history and ranks him seventh on the all-time performers' list... Broke his own school-record of 5,373 points, which he set to qualify for nationals and win the Mines D-II Invite and Multi just weeks earlier... Earned USTFCCCA All-Region accolades... Broke the former RMAC record of 5,456 that had been set by Maverick Head Coach Brad Gamble, who won the 2011 national title as a student-athlete at Chadron State... Competed in seven total meets, contesting the heptathlon at three... Competed in four events, but not the heptathlon at the RMAC Championships... Ran a career-best time of 6.99 seconds fo finish ninth in the 60-meter dash at the conference meet... Is the fourth fastest Maverick all-time in that event... Closed out the national championship with a 1,000 meter time of 2:47.40, second fastest in program history... Had a career-best time of 8.42 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at the Western Alumni Open to rank third in program history... Placed ninth in that event at the RMAC Championships, finishing in 8.43 seconds... Cleared a personal-best 1.98 meters (6-6) in the high jump at the national championships, second best in program history... Cleared a career-high 4.60 meters (15-1) in the pole vault at the Mines D-II Invite and Multi to rank second in program history... Finished 11th in that event at the RMAC Championships... Had a career-best leap of 6.97 meters (22-10.5) in the long jump at the NCAA Championships to rank third in program history... Had a season-best mark of 13.72m (45-0.25) in the shot put to rank fifth.
2017 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the decathlon and second team plaudits in the javelin... Placed second in the decathlon behind only teammate D'Angelo Foster and fourth in the javelin (49.16m/161-3) at the RMAC Championships... Scored a NCAA provisional qualifying 6,616 points in the RMAC decathlon before tallying 6,471 in a second attempt at it just days later at the Mines Friday Last Chance meet... Competed in nine total meets... Set the former school-record in the javelin winning the event at the Maroon Classic & Multi with a mark of 53.68 meters (176-1.75)... Still ranks second in program history with that mark, which was the best in the RMAC throughout the season.. Set season-best times of 11.09w (100), 52.26 (400), 5:16.60 (1500), 15.63 (110 Hurdles)... Had season-best field event-marks of 1.94m (6-4.25) in the high jump, 4.00m (13-1.5) in the pole vault, 6.33m (20-9.25) in the long jump, 13.26m (43-6) in the shot put and 39.10 (128-3) in the discus... The hurdle time of 15.63 is still his career best and ranks him third in program history... Set it during the RMAC Championship decathlon, which saw him fare best in four different disciplines... The high jump clearance is his outdoor career-best and ranks him third in program history... Won the javelin at the CMU Invite, both the javelin and high jump at the Maroon Classic & Multi and the high jump at the Western State/Gunnison High School Combined Invitational.
2016-17 Indoor: Did not compete.
2016 Outdoor (Sophomore): Redshirt Season.
2015-16: Indoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in four meets, contesting his first career multi-event competition taking eighth in the heptathlon at the CSM Division II Invite & Multi with a score of 4,457 points...Set season-best times of 7.18 (60), 9.00 (60 Hurdles) and 3:08.81 (1000) in that meet... Had other season-bests of 6.34m (20-9.75) in the long jump, 1.77m (5-9.75) in the high jump, 3.50m (11-5.75) in the pole vault and  12.52m (41-1) in the shot put... Ran on two 4x400-meter relay teams throughout the campaign.
2015 Outdoor (Freshman): Placed eighth in the high jump and javelin at the RMAC Championships.... Set a season-best of 47.46m (155-8) in the javelin at that meet... Competed in five overall meets, contesting a variety of events, but never a decathlon... Posted other season-bests of 11.66 for 100, 1.80m (5-10.75) in the high jump, 3.65m (11-11.75) in the pole vault, 6.82m (22-4.5) in the long jump, 11.61m (38-1.25) in the shot put, and 31.54m (103-6) in the discus... Won the long jump at the CSU-Pueblo Pack Classic and seven overall top-3 finishes throughout the campaign.
2014-15 Indoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.
Prep: Finished second in the long jump and eighth in the 100 at the 2014 Wyoming State Championships as a senior at Kelly Walsh HS... Set high-school bests of 11.24 (100) and 22-3 (LJ) to do so.
