2019-20 Indoor (Redshirt Senior): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 800-meter on the Mavs’ distance medley relay team, which posted a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 10:24.77, fourth fastest in program history… Helped CMU finish sixth and score three team points… Also qualified for the conference meet in the 800 meters, but did not finish the event… Had qualified by finishing second in a season-best time of 1:57.94 (1:55.22-converted) at the UCCS Invitational… Also ran the 400 meters on two occasions, setting a career-best time of 51.96 in his season debut at the Western Colorado Open… Ran on a 4x400-meter relay at the UCCS Invitational (3:33.11).
2019 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Ran the 800 meters at the Mines Nature's Bakery Invite in his lone apperance of the season... Finished seventh in 2:01.08... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll pick.
2018-19 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships... Finished fifth in the 800 meters to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors... Had an indoor career-best time of 1:55.36 and ranks fourth in program history... His altitude-adjusted time of 1:52.20 ranked him eighth on the RMAC season-long performers list and was an NCAA provisional qualifying mark... Also ran the opening 1,200m leg on the Mavs' distance medley relay team, which finished in 10:45.85, sixth fastest in program history... Had won the 800 at the Adams State NCAA Qualifier... Won the mile in the season-opening Western Colorado Open with a season-best time of 4:30.42... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.
2018 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in two meets... Took 24th in the 800 meters at the RMAC Championships after qualifying for it thanks to a season-best time of 1:56.78 at the Western/GHS Combined Invitational... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
2017-18 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships... Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with a sixth place finish in the 800 meters... Had run a season-best and NCAA provisional qualifying time of 1:56.31 at the Western Alumni Open, one of his three runner-up finishes... That time, converted for altitude and track size to 1:53.04 allowed him to finish 44th on the national performance list... Also contested the mile twice, finishing second at the Weber State Winter Open while running a career-best time of 4:27.52 at the Colorado Invitational... Ranks fourth in Maverick history with that performance... Ran on two 4x400-meter relay teams throughout the season... Helped the team to a time of 3:27.27 at the Colorado Invitational... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll pick.... Earned USTFCCA All-Academic honors.
2017 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): RMAC Academic Honor Roll...Competed in nine meets...Ran a season-bests of 1:53.82 in the 800m and a time of 4:11.94 in his lone 1,500m effort... Ranks fourth in program history for the 800 with that time, set at the Bryan Clay Invitational...Took 13th in the 800 at the RMAC Championships... Also competed on the Mavericks' 4x400m relay team that finished ninth.Â
2016-17 Indoor (Redshirt Freshman):Â RMAC Academic Honor Roll... Competed in two meets... Ran an 800m time of 1:56.73 to take second at the Western State Alumni Open... Had run the 800m leg of CMU's distance medley relay team (10:52.09) a week earlier.
Before CMU: Attended Metro State in the fall of 2013... Redshirt member of the Roadrunners' cross country team... Enrolled at CMU in the spring of 2016.
Prep: Graduated from Conifer High School in 2013 and was coached by Brian
Stotts…Won three individual and two relay league titles... Won the 2013 400-meter title with a PR of 49.40 before finishing sixth at state... Also won the 800-meter title before taking third at state that year... Place second at state as as a junior in 2012 after winning the league title... Also qualified for state in the high jump... Won the league title in the 4x400 and 4x800-meter relays... Was named as the Jeffco League MVP and was the Conifer HS Athlete of the Year.

Fera he is majoring in secondary education with a focus in geo sciences…Chose CMU because of mutual friends who attended the university…He aspires to become a college professor…In his free time he enjoys running, rock climbing, and the outdoors.
