2019-20 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in five meets, running the mile, 3,000 meters, 5,000 meters and distance medley relay… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the 5K after placing third at the RMAC Championships… Ran a time of 18:38.90 to take the No. 2 spot in program history… Ranked eighth on the RMAC season-long performance list with that altitude and track-size adjusted time of 17:47.44… Also finished eighth as part of CMU’s distance medley relay team, which posted a time of 13:30.76, 11
th fastest in program history… Had four top-3 finishes throughout the season… Placed second with a career-best time of 11:07.84 in the 3K at the UCCS Invitational to begin her campaign… Was second in the DMR and third in the mile with a career-best time of 5:50.86 at The Power 5…. Qualified for the RMAC Championships in the 5K after finishing fourth at the Mines Winter Classic with a time of 19:06.22... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.
2019 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Did not compete.
2018-19 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Ran the 3,000 meters at the Western Colorado Open, finishing second with a time of 11:40.66 in what was her lone appearance of the season... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.
2018 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Ran the 1,500 meters at three different meets... Posted a season-best time of 5:10.74 at the UVU Collegiate Invitational in Orem, Utah... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.
2017-18 Indoor (Sophomore): Redshirt season.
2017 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season.
2016-17 Indoor (Freshman): Ran the 1,200m leg on CMU's Distance Medley Relay team at the Mines Division II Invite in her lone action of the track season.
Prep: 4-time all-conference athlete in three sports (XC, track, swimming) for the Loveland HS Indians... Competed in the state cross country championships throughout her prep career… Placed fourth at the 5A Region 4 meet as a junior (2014) after earning a ninth place finish at the Front Range League Championship… Also competed at the Nike Cross Southwest Regionals that year…  4-time time state qualifier on the track… Helped her team place fourth in the 4X800-meter relay… Won the 3,200 meters at the St. Vrain Invitational as a junior in 2015 with a PR time of 11:35… Best 1,600m time was 5:25.
Personal: Daughter of Chad and Lori Brent… Majoring in exercise science… Plans to continue education to become a physician assistant… Enjoys running, spending time outdoors, hanging out with family and friends and traveling.
Why I Chose CMU: "Because of the ability to continue the sport I love and pursue my desired area of education. I was fascinated with the Human Performance Lab and overall love the area of Grand Junction."
