Biography
As a Freshman (2018-19): Competed in six meets... Posted altitude-adjusted season-best times of 1:06.61 (100 breast), 2:33.18 (200 breast), and 2:25.27 (200 IM).
Prep: Set the 100-yard breaststroke record of 1:07.61 while swimming at Kearney High School… Placed 10th at the 2018 Nebraska State Championships in that event for the Bearcats and coach Becky O'Connell… Set a 200 breaststroke personal best of 2:32.98 at the 2017 Speedo Sectionals, while swimming for the Greater Nebraska Swim Team.
Personal: Daughter of Rick and Kim Nelson… Sibling is Chay… Involved with sorority life... Is majoring in forensic psychology... Career aspiration is to become a Correctional Forensic Psychologist.
