As a Junior (2020-21): Did not compete in any meets during the COVID-abbreviated season... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
As a Sophomore (2019-20): Competed at seven meets… Was an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships… Had season-best times of 57.37 (100 back) and 2:02.68 (200 back) and 2:13.88 (200 IM) at the A3 Performance Invitational… The 200 back time was a NCAA “B” cut… Ranks ninth in program-history with her 100 back time... Also had a personal best time of 26.49 in the 50 free at the A3 meet... Named as an Honorable Mention CSCAA Scholar All-American.
As a Freshman (2018-19): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships as an exhibition swimmer... Set an altitude-adjusted NCAA "B" Cut and personal best time of 2:02.63 in the 200 Back at the A3 Performance Invitational... Ranks seventh in program history with that mark... Also had season bests of 58.68 (100 Back), and 2:13.82 (200 IM) at the A3 meet.
Prep: Swimmer for the Central HS Warriors… Competed in four individual events at the 2018 4A State Championships placing 13th in the 100 back with a PR time of 1:01.06.
Club: Swam for Maverick Aquatics… Set long-course personal bests of 1:07.92 (100 back) and 2:25.86 (200 back) at the 2018 Western Zone Senior Championships to finish 26th and 19th, respectively.
Personal: Daughter of Paula and Mike Morang… Is majoring in biology with plans of becoming a veterinarian.
