2019 (Junior): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection... Competed in all five team meets, leading the team in the first three... Claimed her first career top-10 finish by taking ninth at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite... Was 18th at the Roadrunner Invitational before finishing 17th at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open with a career-best 5K time of 18:45.1... Finished 61st at the RMAC Championships with a career-best 6K time of 23:03.1... Was the Mavs' No. 2 runner... Finished 73rd at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional as the team's third finisher.
2018 (Sophomore): Competed in four of the team's five meets, including both the RMAC and South Central Regional Championships... Placed 92nd at the RMAC meet and 115th at regionals... Had a season-best time of 24:46.3 for 6K at the Lewis Crossover... Ran a 5K time of 20:50.0 at the Mountaineer Cowboy Open... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.
2017 (Freshman): Competed in all six of the Mavericks' meets... Was amongst the team's top two finishers in five of them... Led the team with a 49th place finish at the RMAC Championships... Was the Mavs' No. 2 runner while placing 70th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships... Had a season-best 6K time of 23:44.5 at the regional... Had a season-best 5K time of 19:49.3 at the season-opening CSU Duals, where she led the team with a 21st place finish amongst non-Division I runners before finishing a season-best 13th at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite.
High School: Ran for the Chargers of Chatfield High School and coach Angie Erb and Jeff Mages...Two-time State Championship qualifier in Cross Country… Earned all-conference honors… Named program’s Female Athlete of the Year for all four years of her career… Academic all-state honoree… First team all-conference swimmer… Won the 2015 Arapahoe Warrior Invitational to open her junior cross country season (2015)... Finished 10th at the Jefferson County 4A/5A League Championships as a senior (2016)... Placed third in the 1600 and fifth in the 3200 at the league meet as a senior in track (2017)... Had track PR’s of 12:11.95 (3200), 5:24.24 (1600) and 2:21.96 (800).
Personal: Majoring in hospitality management...Daughter of Tyler and Katie Oglesby...Has two siblings, Nathan and Wyatt... Nathan was also a member of the Mavericks' program... Enjoys swimming, reading, petting dogs and laughing.. Chose CMU for the ideal location and because the campus has so much to offer... Aspires to have a career having to do with travel or tourism or something that will her to travel and see the world.
