Begins the 2018-19 season as a Preseason All-RMAC selection...

2017-18 (Junior): Competed in nine events, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships... Anchored the 200 free relay team to a 19th place finish (1:21.88) before earning Second Team CSCAA All-America honors as the butterfly leg on the Mavs' 400 medley relay team, which placed 13th (3:15.95) at the national meet... Placed sixth in the 100 fly with a season-best time of 48.54 at the RMAC Championships... Also finished ninth in the 200 fly (1:52.37), 11th in the 100 free (46.17) and 14th in the 50 free (20.98) in his other individual events at the conference meet... Set season-bests in the 200 fly... Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the 200 free relay, helping the team to a second place finish (1:21.70)... Earned second team honors for third place finishes in the 400 medley (3:17.07) and 400 free (3:00.67) relays... Won the 50 free and 100 fly at the Colorado College Classic... Won the 100 fly at a Jan. 19 dual at Division I Denver... Had other season-bests of 20.84 (50 free), 45.70 (100 free) at the A3 Performance Invite... CSCAA Scholar All-America performer.

2016-17 (Sophomore): At the NCAA Championships, finished 18th in the 200 free relay (1:22.29) and 18th in the 400 free relay (3:01.47),... First Team All-RMAC in the 100 fly and 200 free relay... Second Team All-RMAC in the 400 free relay...Set school records in the 200 free relay (1:20.69) and 400 free relay (3:00.05).

2015-16 (Freshman): Finished sixth in the 100 fly (49.44), eighth in the 200 fly (2:00.36), 10th in the 200 medley relay (1:33.48) and 10th in the 400 medley relay (3:24.67) at the RMAC Championships.

High School: 3-time Texas High School Regional Qualifier for the Harker Heights HS Knights and Coach Kate Eikrem... Finished fifth in the 100 fly... High school best all-around…Four-time USA Swimming Southern Zone Sectional Qualifier, finishing 31st in 100m fly.

Personal: Working on a master's degree in sport management...Son of Richard and Lynda Bean... Brother of Richard and Taylor... Enjoys swimming, lifting, eating, slieeping and playing video games.
