2018-19: Finished the season with a 9-4 record after a season-ending injury during the San Francisco State Duals...Placed fourth at the UNK Holiday Inn Open...Defeated the top ranked 157 pound wrestler from UNK in a dual.

2017-18: All-RMAC second team for placing second at the RMAC Championships...Finished the season 10-2 with his lone two losses coming at the NCAA Regional Tournament.

2015-16: Finished the season with an 11-9 record...Won the Utah Valley Open and placed fourth at the UNK Holiday Inn Open.

High School: Wrestled for the Wildcats of Arvada West and coach Graneri...Two-time Colorado State Champion...Four-time All-State selection...High School All-American...Academic All-State.

Personal: Son of Chris and Tara Tawater...Has one sibling, Sydney (16)...Chose CMU for the academic and athletic opportunities...Enjoys hiking, fishing, and camping.
