2017 Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed in five meets, contesting the shot put and discus in each...Threw season-bests of 10.92m (35-10) in the shot put and 36.07m (118-4) in the discus at the RMAC Championships... Took 13th place in both.

2016-17 Indoor (Sophomore): Did not compete.. Redshirt season.

2016 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in two early-season home meets... Recorded season-bests of 10.17m (33-4.5) in the shot put and 33.03m (108-4) in the discus throw.

2015-16 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in four meets, taking 19th in the shot put at the RMAC Championships with a season-best effort of 10.25m (33-7.5)... Won the weight throw at The Shootout... Went on to turn in a season-best mark of 11.79m (38-8.25) in that event at Mines.

Prep: Qualified for the 3A State Championships in both throwing events as a senior for the Daniel Betz coached University HS Bulldogs in 2015... Also qualified in the discus as a junior.

Personal: Majoring in nursing with plans on obtaining a BSN and hopes of becoming a flight or military nurse... Parents are Jeff and Tobi Vegter... Has two siblings (Mackenzie and Tyler)... Enjoys volleyball.
