COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— After leading all Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference golfers and placing in a tie for ninth overall at last Las Vegas Desert Classic, Colorado Mesa University junior Dylan Everett was named as the RMAC's Men's Golfer of the Week on Tuesday.
 
Everett, who has now won the award twice this academic year, posted a 54-hole total of 213 and finished three shots under par at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, which will later play host to both the RMAC and NCAA Division II Championships later this spring.  The Highlands Ranch, Colorado native recorded back-to-back rounds of 3-under par 69 in last Monday and Tuesday's rounds and finished event with 11 birdies and an eagle to register his second top-10 finish of the season.
 
He was also named as the RMAC Golfer of the Week on Sept. 18 after her won the Travis Roy Memorial Invitational in Sheridan, Wyoming at the start of the fall season.
 
As a team, the Mavericks finished third in the elite field of 20 teams, half of which were ranked in the nation's top 25.  The Mavs finished higher than eight of those squads, including three inside the top 10.
