GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- After an up-and-down road trip, the Colorado Mesa University men's soccer team return home to face Colorado School of Mines in their only match of the week.
The match is set to kickoff at 12 p.m. and will be livestreamed on the RMAC Network (paid subscription required). Live stats will also be available.
Last Time Out
The Mavericks traveled to southern Colorado to play Adams State and Fort Lewis. They toppled the Grizzlies 2-0 but lost to the Skyhawks 2-1.
Edoardo Oliveri and Matteo Bonelli scored in the Adams State game while Stefanos Christodoulakis scored the lone Mav goal against Fort Lewis. Richie Tabares Ochoa put up three assists in those two games, increasing his assist total to six.
Nathan Beck put up his third shutout of the season against the Grizzlies and totaled six saves across the two games. Beck is coming off an RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week award for his performance against UCCS and CSU Pueblo.

It's safe to say that Tabares Ochoa and Oliveri have been a force to be reckoned with on offense.
Tabares Ochoa has started and played all 11 games for the Mavs, leading the team with 926 minutes played. He has five goals and a team-leading six assists. Five of those assists have come in the past four games, averaging .833 assists per game which leads the RMAC in assists per game.
Oliveri has only played seven games and started in five of those games. Despite the short amount of time on the field, Oliveri has thrived as he ties Tabares Ochoa's mark of five goals and has an assist. He has scored three times in the last four games and leads the RMAC in average goals per game (.714).
RMAC Standings
Fort Lewis has won every single RMAC contest they've played so far and have sole possession of first place with 12 points. CSU Pueblo are also undefeated and follow behind with eleven points.
UCCS now has sole possession of third with eight points while there is a four way tie for fourth as Regis, CMU, South Dakota Mines and Westminster all have seven points.
MSU Denver and Colorado Christian are tied in fifth with six points while Colorado School of Mines and Adams State both find themselves at the bottom of the table with zero points.
Regional Rankings
The Mavs find themselves out of the national polls but are still ranked sixth in the south-central region, according to a new poll by the United Soccer Coaches. Midwestern State still leads the region with an unbeaten 9-0-3 record.
A plethora of RMAC teams join the Mavs in the rankings including CSU Pueblo (#2), Fort Lewis (#3), UCCS (#4), Regis (#5) and MSU Denver (#7).
About Colorado School of Mines
The Orediggers find themselves in the midst of a tough season. With a record of 0-10-2, they are still searching for their first win of the season. The draws they did earn this season were against Biola and Adams State.
Historically, the Orediggers post a 23-7-2 record over the Mavs with their last four matchups splitting between wins for either side. The last time these two teams, the Mavs came out on top 2-1.
Pol Garcia Oliveras leads the way on offense with three goals and two assists while Murray Peart also has two assists along with two goals. Avi Levin also totals three goals and an assist on the campaign.
The Orediggers have relied on the goalkeeper trio of Zach MacDonald, Kiernan DiBella and Noah Hildreth. All three keepers have made at least ten saves and played in three games with MacDonald leading the way with 25.
