Senior

Keely Wieczorek made four saves for the Mavs to pick up her second straight shutout while extending her new CMU career shutout record to 22.
CMU, 2-0 this season, is now unbeaten in ten straight home games (9-0-1) since the start of 2024.
The Mavs finished Saturday's win with an 11-10 advantage in shots although St. Mary's (0-1-1) had a 7-5 edge in the second half.
The Mavericks got the scoring started executing a free kick to perfection in the 23

Mari Ige assist, moments after
Sarah Dunn played the ball short, tricking the Rattler defense, which was expecting Dunn to send it in from the free kick spot.
The Mavs then doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 38
th minute as Baird knocked the ball into an open net off a
Parker Mairs cross.
Ally Wachtel also picked up the secondary assist after sending a nice lone cross-field pass.
Trailing 2-0 at the half, the Rattlers came out strong in the second as Shelby Paniagua put shots on target in the 47
th and 49
th minutes. The second of those came on a breakaway that as Wieczorek charged out to make her best save of the season to maintain the Mavs' 2-0 lead.
The Mavericks then took a 3-0 lead in the 69
th minute as
Bree McCullough headed a clearance near the top of the penalty area that Duncan was able to chip in over Rattler reserve goalkeeper Quetza Garza for her first career goal.
Baird then scored her second goal just after the 86-minute mark on a well-executed passing exchange with
Olivia Barrett.
The Mavericks will remain at home to face Northwest Nazarene next Thursday (Sept. 11) at 7 p.m.
