GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.— Ryan Campbell claimed the top individual spot as the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks swept the top five places in a 16-3 men's diving dual victory over the Colorado School of Mines on Saturday afternoon at the El Pomar Natatorium.
Campbell scored 565.85 points over 11 dives off the 3-meter springboard to take the win over teammate
Jax Juarros by 25.4 points, avenging a Juarros win in the same event on Friday night during the TYR/CMU Invitational.
David Roethlisberger finished third in Saturday's dual with 532.70 points as he,
Ty Mitton (514.35) and
Aiden Coon (505.25) all surpassed the NCAA qualification standard of 460 points.
Bruno Albertoni, Mines' lone diver, did as well, scoring 483.55 points to finish sixth.
All five of those Mavericks have now secured the right for a trip to the NCAA Pre-Championship Qualification Meet in Evansville, Indiana on Mar. 10, 2026 after recording a 6 and 11-dive qualifying score in two different meets.
Mitton and Coon checked off the remaining box with their Saturday efforts after Campbell, Juarros and Roethlisberger had done so earlier in the meet.
Bruno Albertoni, Mines' lone diver, did as well, scoring 483.55 points to finish sixth.
The Maverick women also held an unofficial intrasquad scrimmage on the 1-meter board in conjunction with the men's event, which was designed as another 11-dive qualification opportunity.
Kenya Meyer, who won both the 1 and 3-meter events with meet records during the TYR/CMU Invitational earlier this week, led the Maverick women with 487.20 points.
Mimi Licht was second with 461.25 points.
