The Colorado Mesa University's women's soccer team fell in their first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchup 3-2 to Westminster. The loss moves the Mavericks to an even 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

st minutes to take the 2-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Mavericks cut the lead in half with a goal by
Ryanne Parker in the 48
th minute. However, a third goal in the 63
rd minute would push the Griffin lead back to 2. Parker would score her second goal of the game in the 87
th minute off an assist from
Mikayla Hix.

CMU was outshot 12-7 in the contest, including 8-5 in shots on goal. Parker received the lone yellow card in the contest in the 89
th minute of action.
