First time 4-0 since 2010:
Following wins against #7 St. Edwards and St. Mary's over the weekend, the men's soccer team is 4-0 to begin the season for the first time since 2010. The Mavericks finished that season going 10-7-2 and qualified for the RMAC tournament.

Last season these two teams met once, and the Mavericks came away with the 2-0 victory.
Moshe Perez and
Roberto Diaz were the goal scorers for CMU, while
Briley Guarneri finished the game with 3 saves. The win gave the Mavericks their 7

Non-conference play finished for the Mavericks last weekend, and RMAC play begins this week. Last season the Mavericks dominated the RMAC, finishing the year 12-0-2 against conference opponents. The two ties came against Metro State in the first RMAC game of the season and against South Dakota School of Mines in the last regular season RMAC game.

This matchup features the number one and two teams in the conference entering the week. Both teams come into the week undefeated, with the Mavericks at 4-0 and Rangers at 2-0.

Last season's matchup was a top 25 matchup between these two teams, with the Mavericks going on the road and defeating the Rangers 3-2 in double overtime. The game winning goal came from
Roy Abergil on a penalty kick in the 107
