GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Colorado Mesa men's golf fell 3-2 to UCCS on Monday evening in the RMAC Championship semifinals at The Golf Club at Estrella Mountain.
The Mavericks defeated Western New Mexico in the fourth-fifth seed matchup earlier in the day, 3-2.
UCCS went on to defeat Colorado Mines on Tuesday in the Medal Match Play RMAC Championship.
Trevor McKune finished in a tie for 15
th in the individual RMAC Championship Tournament with an 8-over, 80 in his final round. He started the day in a tie for third after carding an even par-72 yesterday.
Billy Ramsey made the biggest move for the Mavericks in his final round. Ramsey began the round in 40
th place but fired a final round 6-over, 78 to move into a tie for 26
th.
Western New Mexico's Calum Hill was the overall medalist finishing with an 8-under, 136.
