LAST WEEKEND
Roy Abergil scored two goals to lead Colorado Mesa to a 2-0 win over Adams State in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's soccer match Sunday (Oct. 2). The Colorado Mesa men's soccer team started the weekend off with a 1-0 win against the Fort Lewis Skyhawks on Friday (Sept. 30) in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference showdown.

THIS WEEK'S OPPENENTS
The Colorado Mines Orediggers enter the match with a 4-1-1 Rocky Mountain Athleti Conference record and 5-3-2 overall.  As a team they lead the RMAC in; shots (115), points (53), goals (18), goals per game (3.00), assists (17), and assists per game (2.83). The Orediggers leading scorer is Trevor Amann with seven goals, 14 points, and a .433 shot on goal percentage.The Colorado Christian Cougars enter the weekend with a 1-5-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference record and a 1-9-0 overall. The Cougars lead the RMAC in saves with 48 and an average of 8.00 per game. Their leading scorer is Blake Goodale with three goals, six points, and 0.476 shot on goal percentage. 

SERIES
The last time the Mavericks faced the Orediggers was at the RMAC tournament, the Mavericks fell 1-2. The Cougars have lost the last seven matches played against the Mavericks, including the last time the Mavericks scored the most goals against a team (7).
