PUEBLO, COLO. – The Colorado Mesa University men's soccer team scored three times in the first half on its way to a 4-0 win at CSU-Pueblo Friday (Oct. 14).
Roy Abergil wasted no time as he scored in the fourth minute compliments of an assist from
Moshe Perez.
Luis Schraidt extended the CMU lead to 2-0 with a goal less than two minutes later.
Perez picked up his third point of the game with an unassisted goal in the 29
th minute.
Abergil scored his second goal of the game and his 19
th of the season off a rebound in the 60
th minute.
CMU led in shots 14-7, but CSUP finished with a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.
Briley Guarneri made four saves to record his 10
th win of the season and eighth shutout.
Colorado Mesa (10-1-3, 9-0-1) will host MSU Denver Oct. 21.
