Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Colorado Mesa fell to the MSU Denver Roadrunners 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Walker Field. The loss snaps a mini three match winning streak for the Mavericks and drops them to 0-1-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's soccer action.
The Roadrunners scored their first goal in the 21
st minute and added an insurance goal in the 68
th minute for good measure.
It was a physical match that saw 27 total fouls and five yellow cards handed out.
Oscar Odriozola had a pair of shots in the match to lead Colorado Mesa.
The Mavericks will take on Westminster on Friday at Walker Field before heading out to Rapid City, S.D. for a Sunday match with South Dakota Mines.
