Roy Abergil scored two goals to lead Colorado Mesa to a 2-0 win over Colorado Christian in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's soccer match at Lakewood Memorial Field.
Abergil's two goals give him six on the season and 18 in his career which makes him the all-time leading goal scorer in Colorado Mesa men's soccer history. Eric Anderson held the previous record of 17 which was set during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, the first two years of the program's existence.
His first goal came from 25 yards out and was assisted by
Moshe Perez while his second goal came on a penalty kick in the waning minutes of the match.
Not lost in the mix is that the Mavericks have now won five matches in a row and have secured three straight shutouts.

Briley Guarneri earned the shutout in goal for the third straight match giving him five shutouts in his first season.
The Mavericks took a school record 36 shots in the match to the Cougars nine.
Abergil and Perez each took six shots in the match.
The win sets up a showdown for the top spot in the RMAC with nationally ranked Colorado Mines on Sunday at 2:30pm at Stermole Soccer Field.
