Box Score             The Colorado Mesa University Men's Soccer team picked up a win on the road Monday evening over the Dixie State Red Storm 1-0. The Mavericks improve to 1-0-1 in the early season while Dixie State drops to 1-1-0.

            Maverick Marco Excobar kicked in the game winner early in the first half on a rebound off a defensive header in the 17th minute. The goal was Escobar's first of the season.

            The defense kept Dixie State out of the net and Sophomore Micah Conrads picked up the win and the shutout in net for Colorado Mesa. Conrads made 6 saves.

            The Mavericks will continue the road swing next weekend with a pair of games. CMU will take on Fort Hays State and Northeastern State in Hays, Kan.
