            The Colorado Mesa University Men's Soccer team finished up a five match road swing with a match on Sunday in Colorado Springs against the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. The Mavericks picked up a 1-0 victory after a late second half goal. The Mavericks record moves to 8-3-1 overall and 6-2-0 in the RMAC while the Mountain Lions fell to 6-5-0 and 5-3-0 in RMAC matches.

            In the 73rd minute, Patrick Wall found the back of the net for his second goal of the season. Wall's goal was assisted by Phil Neuwirth and gave the Mavericks the 1-0 advantage in the match.

            Micah Conrads made a save and picked up his fifth shutout of the season and hasnt allowed a goal in three matches.

            The win gives the Mavericks sole possesion of second place in the RMAC with 18 points, trailing only #2 Regis who has 24 points. The Mountain Lions have a stronghold on third place with 15 points.

            The Mavericks have a crucial matchup on Friday night at 7:00pm against Colorado Mines at Walker Field. On Sunday, they will continue the home weekend with a match against CSU-Pueblo at 12:00pm
