            The Colorado Mesa University Men's Soccer team took on the Metro State University Roadrunners on Friday afternoon at Walker Field. The Mavericks and Roadrunners couldnt settle anything in 110 minutes of play and settled for the 0-0 tie. Metro State's record is now 8-6-1 on the season and 5-5-1 in the RMAC while the Mavericks are now 8-4-3 on the season and 6-3-2 in RMAC matches which guarantees them a berth in the RMAC Tournament.

            The Mavericks had two really good scoring opportunities by Marco Escobar one coming in each half. and both were saved by the Roadrunner goalie Issa Bissau.

            Colorado Mesa is in a little bit of a dry spell scoring goals lately. They haven't scored a goal in over 310 minutes of play and have had a 0-1-2 in that stretch.

            Goalkeeper Micah Conrads picked up his seventh shutout of the season.

            The Mavericks will now play there final regualr season home match on Sunday against #1 ranked Regis at 3:00pm at Walker Field.
