CMU men's swimming team defeated host Adams State College 66-28, but fell to Colorado School of Mines, 52-41 at a dual meet hosted by Adams State College in Alamosa on Sunday afternoon.

Peter Szekely, Jeremy Jenkins, Jordan Heggen and Michael Carricato won the 800 freestyle relay in a time of 7:50.64.

Drew Vandermeer swam to second place finishes in the 100 freestyle (49.75) and the 100 breaststroke (1:08.46) to help the Mavs defeat the Grizzlies.

Taylor Adams finished second in the 100 freestyle (11:34.51) and Scott Strehlow recorded a second place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:59.04).

Jordan Heggen was second in the 500 freestyle (5:18.23), Jacob Smith placed second in the 200 IM (2:11.44) and Ryan Dake finished second in the 100 backstroke (57.04).
