Late Goal Gives Roadrunners 1-0 Victory

Box Score         The Colorado Mesa men's soccer team dropped another close match Sunday afternoon as they fell to the Metro State Roadrunners 1-0. The loss drops the Mavericks to 0-5-1 and 0-2-0 in RMAC matches. Metro State improves their record to 3-2-1 and 1-1-0 in the RMAC.
        The score remained 0-0 for just over 70 minutes until Roadrunner Marc Herschberger tallied his third goal of the season. The goal was assisted by Dele Johnson and gave Metro State the only goal of the match.
        Micah Conrads took the loss in goal and made one save in the match. Marco Escobar took 3 shots in the match with one of them coming on goal.
        CMU will be on the road for a tilt with Fort Lewis on Wednesday but return home for two matches over the weekend.
