Hofer's OT Goal Stuns T-Wolves

Box Score         The Colorado Mesa University men's soccer team and the CSU-Pueblo ThuderWolves battled it out for 90 minutes and couldnt decide anything in that time. In overtime, the Mavericks scored in the 7th minute to gain its 4th victory of the season. Colorado Mesa's record now stands at 4-10-1 and 4-7 in the RMAC, while the ThunderWolves drop to 4-8-3 and 4-5-2 in RMAC matches.
        Freshman Tim Hofer couldn't have picked a better time to score his first collegiate goal. In the 97th minute of the match, Hofer received the ball off a deflection and scored to give CMU the victory, 1-0.
        On the match, bith teams took 14 shots with 6 of the T-Wolves shots being on goal to the Mavericks 4. Nick Labor and Phil Neuwirth each took 3 shots for CMU in the match.
        Micah Conrads picked up the win in goal and made 6 saves on the match. Conrads picked up his first shutout of the season.
        Colorado Mesa will travel to Colorado Springs next Friday for a bout with the UCCS Mountain Lions. Earlier in the season, the Mavericks dropped a 1-0 decision to the Mountain Lions at Walker Field.
