Roadrunners Drop Mavericks 2-0

          Mesa State's first ever postseason appearance ended in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Tournament on Wednesday. The Metro State Roadrunners got two second half goals en route to the 2-0 win. Metro State will now face the top seeded Colorado Mines Orediggers.

          Metro State's Scott Crawford scored in the 58th minute to give the Roadrunners a 1-0 edge. Then, RMAC Player of the Year Steven Emory gave the Roadrunners a little cushion with a goal in the 77th minute.

         Mesa State took 11 shots and forced Roadrunner goaltender Issa Bissau to make 7 saves but couldnt find the back of the net.

          Mesa State's final record of the season is 10-7-2 which is an eight win turnaround from last season. Check back to find out when the Mavericks will play this spring.
