The Mavericks dropped a heart breaking game to the CSU-Pueblo ThunderWolves, 2-1 in OT. Mesa State's record dropped to 2-8-1 and 2-4-0 in RMAC play.
The match was an evenly played battle with no team having many good scoring oppurtunities for 60 minutes. That changed when CSU-Pueblo was awarded a penalty kick on a foul that occured in the box. ThunderWolf Dylan Cook converted the PK to give CSU-Pueblo the 1-0 lead.

The score remianed 1-1 as time ran out in regulation, sending the game to overtime.
ThunderWolf Johnny Valenzuela chipped a ball into the box which found teammate Brendan Hughes. Hughes put the ball in the net off the left side to give CSU-Pueblo the Victory, 2-1.
The Mavs' will be on the road this weekend at Metro State on Friday and at Ft. Lewis on Sunday.
