Andy Cornia (RFr, F, 5'10, Ogden, UT) had a goal and an assist as the men's soccer team shutout Colorado Christian 2-0, Sunday afternoon in Lakewood. Cornia's breakaway goal was off an assist by Alex Mattevi (So., MF, 6'0, Loomis, CA) in the first period (37:54).

                Eric Anderson gave the Mavs an insurance goal (59:15) on a wide open shot on a pass from Cornia to close out the scoring. Josh Tinaglia (Jr., 6'2, Littleton, CO) played all 90 minutes in the net for the victory.

                MSC outshot the Cougars 13-2 and held an 8-2 corner kick advantage.

                MSC improves to 9-9 overall and 5-7 in league action. MSC will return home to host Regis University and Metro State on Friday and Sunday at Walker Field.
