Todd Padgett

Begining in 2019 Todd Padgett will serve as the Director of Soccer Operations and will oversee both men's and women's programs in an administrative role. 

Padgett served as head coach of the Colorado Mesa University men's program for the past five seasons (2014-2018). During his reign the Mavs were 75-19-14 including a 54-7-6 record in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches. He led the team to two RMAC regular season championships and a 2016 RMAC Tournament Championship. He won RMAC Conference Championships in 2014 and 2016 and competed in the NCAA Tournament in all five seasons including a spot in the NCAA National Semifinals in 2014. . 

Padgett came to Colorado Mesa after successful stint at Eastern New Mexico University as the women’s head coach.

Padgett made an immediate impact upon his arrival at Eastern New Mexico. He led the Zias, who finished last the year before, to a third place finish in the Lone Star Conference in his first season. During his three seasons at ENMU he coached eight players to all-conference accolades. The Zias set an NCAA record with 11 overtimes while playing one of the toughest schedules in the country in 2013. 
 
Prior to his time at Eastern New Mexico, he spent three seasons at Fort Lewis. He helped the Skyhawks to two NCAA Tournaments, including a regional championship and Elite 8 appearance in 2010. 
 
Padgett started his collegiate career at Metro State before transferring to Fort Lewis. He was a four-time all-conference selection as a defender and midfielder. Padgett played professional soccer with the Albuquerque Asylum indoor and outdoor teams after graduating with a degree in European History from Fort Lewis. 
 
Padgett and his partner Victoria have two sons, Killian and Logan.
