BIRMINGHAM, ALA. – Cassi Blakeman of Colorado Mesa University earned All-American honors after placing eighth on the one-meter with a score of 389.40 at the NCAA Div. II Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday (March 9).
The Mavericks had three other women compete on the one-meter. Kelsey Vreeman finished 15
th (374.70), Brittany Dixon 18
th (353.20) and Abby Smith 21
st (317.25).
Sam Bryant placed 10
th in the 400 individual medley in a school-record time of 3:50.78. Ryan Gifford was 26
th (3:59.00).
The men's 400 medley relay of Eric Berg, Josh Bedford, Chris Radomski and Sky Hirsch finished 13
th (3:17.73).
Hirsch, Radomski, Berg and Morgan Bean finished 18
th in the men's 200 free relay (1:22.29).
The women's 200 free relay of Sam White, Mary Saiz, Madelaine McClain and Marissa Bradley finished 24
th (1:35.54).
Chris Radomski finished 21
st in the 100 fly (48.75).
The men are currently 15
th with 57 points and the women are 26
th with 13 points.
The NCAA Div. II Swimming and Diving Championships continue through Saturday (March 11).
