BIRMINGHAM, ALA. – Colorado Mesa University collected three All-American honors on the opening day of the NCAA Div. II Swimming and Diving Championships Wednesday (March 8).
Sage D'Ambrosia placed sixth on the three-meter with a score of 441.20. Teammate Noah Macomber finished seventh with a score of 440.75.
Sam Bryant placed eighth in the 1,000 free in a time of 9:10.95.
The men's 200 medley relay team of Eric Berg, Josh Bedford, Chris Radomski and Sky Hirsch finished 14
th with a time of 1:29.38.
The Mavericks had three swimmers in the 50 free. Chris Radomski finished 17th in the 50 free in a time of 20.31 after losing the swim off.
Sky Hirsch placed 25
th (20.50) in the men's, and Mary Saiz placed 28
th (23.71) in the women's.
Saiz led off the women's 200 medley relay that finished 18
th in a time of 1:44.54.
Josh Bedford finished 29
th in the men's 200 individual medley in a time of 1:50.42.
The men are currently in seventh place with 42 points and the women are still seeking their first points of the competition.
The swimming and diving national championships continue through Saturday (March 11).
